Janet Stacey

With more than 20 years in the medical device and healthcare industries,
Janet brings extensive experience in branding, public relations, strategic planning,
communications, and direct-to-patient and physician marketing to Padilla Speer Beardsley. In addition to her marketing track record, she has hands-on experience with
reimbursement, product launches and recalls, clinical trials, quality improvement, cultural
transformation and global device markets. Clients value Janet's in-depth understanding and
insights on the complexities and challenges in their fast-paced environments, and she enjoys
cultivating relationships and offering strategic and creative solutions to meet their needs.
Prior to Padilla Speer Beardsley, Janet was president of her own healthcare marketing and public relations firm. In
addition to agency experience, she has held several leadership positions in the corporate sector. As director of strategic marketing and public relations for Zimmer, Inc. (formerly Centerpulse Orthopedics Inc.), she was responsible for leading strategic planning, market research, communications, public relations and value-added services. Prior to that, she was vice president of business development for HealthAnswers.com, Inc., a start-up healthcare technology group, where she successfully increased revenues by 20 percent and implemented vertical marketing strategies to increase company value with venture capitalists.
On the provider side, Janet served as marketing manager and financial analyst for TriHealth,
Inc., a regional diversified healthcare system with multiple hospitals, hospice services, senior
facilities and a regional home health business. In those positions, she was involved in developing
strategic marketing initiatives, implementing brand positioning and key messaging for a
community-image campaign, and formulating new business opportunities for centers of
excellence, physician/hospital joint ventures and outreach programs to increase market share.
Janet holds a master's degree in marketing and finance from Xavier University and a bachelor's
degree in business administration from University of Tennessee. She is a member of the
American Marketing Association and has a long-standing interest in giving back to the
community through volunteering and serving on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
